Being a parent is a full time job which means you are always on the go and it can be a bit overwhelming at times. Our Family Devotionals are designed to be a tool that can help you with teaching your child about God's Word and how He wants to be a part of their life without you having to think up ideas all by yourself.
As we study the life of Moses we are learning that God is a part of everything even if we can't seem Him. We are learning that God has a plan for His people. To help your child continue to learn and understand this, do a puzzle with these next few weeks.
As you work together remind your children that even though there are many pieces and it doesn't look like anything yet as you work together and follow the picture on the book you will be able to put the puzzle together. Explain to your children how God made us and even though sometimes we mess up or things don't go right or we don't get what we want or we are sad or mad or happy, that God still knows what we should look like. He is there to help us become more and more like Him: loving, kind, generous, fair, patient, etc.
He gave us His son, Jesus. Jesus is kind of like the picture on the box. Jesus showed us how to live and we are to be like Him. And just like He was with Moses and the Israelites helping them, Jesus is with us ... helping us.
